Gold Cup Awards and Certificates

Participation Certificates

Every entrant gets ONE participation certificate for each event they participate.

Superior Certificates

Every entrant that gets a Superior Rating, gets ONE of the following certificates

First Superior

This Certificate is given to entrants who have recived their first Superior, or who have skipped a festival year and are not eligible for the consecutive superior certificate.

Consecutive Superior

This Certificate is given to entrants who have previously earned a Superior without interruptions . Entrants who have earned their 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, or 8th Consecutive Superior, get this certificate.

3rd, 6th, 9th Superior

This certificate is given to students who have earned their 3rd, 6th, or 9th Consecutive Superior without interruptions. (only third is pictured above)

Gold and Silver Award Cups

Cups are awarded to entrants with every 15 points accrued. Gold Cups for Juniors and Silver Cups for Seniors. The SCV-FMC’s Cup Fund pays for the entrant’s cup and personalized nameplate.

Points are earned according to the festival rating system. They are earned in each event separately, and cannot be combined.

Superior - 5 points

Excellent- 4 points

Satisfactory- 3 points

First Cup: 6" - 15 Points

Second Cup: 8" - 30 Points

Third Cup: 10" - 45 Points

Fourth Cup: 12" - 60 Points

Grand Cup: 14" - 75 Points

President's Cup: 16" - 90 Points
